Officers investigating a theft from a vehicle in Ramsgate are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It was reported that between 8.30pm on Thursday 17 April 2025 and 10.45am the following morning, tools were stolen from a pick-up style truck.
Items taken included a Halfords advance socket and spanner set in a black case, a Makita 40v drill with two batteries and a charger.
The theft was reported to have taken place in Dane Crescent, and officers are aware that other vehicle owners may have had similar incidents take place in the Newington and St Luke’s Avenue areas of the town.
PC Oli Sterling said:
‘Anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of theft during the same time frame should ensure they report it via the Kent Police website so enquiries can be made into additional thefts. ‘We are asking residents who have private CCTV, doorbell CCTV or dashcam footage recorded that night to review it as they may be able to assist the investigation.'
Witnesses or anyone with information regarding the theft in Dane Crescent should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/64800/25.
