Witnesses are sought after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision in Rochester.
The victim was walking in Crow Lane at around 12.25am on Thursday 22 February 2024 when she was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Eco Sport car. The driver of the car is reported to have left the area following the incident.
Emergency services were called and the victim, a woman in her 30s, was taken to a London hospital where she was treated for head injuries. She remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Officers are keen to talk to witnesses who saw the incident.
In particular, police would like to talk to two men who were walking close to the victim in the moments prior to the collision. Following the incident, they are reported to have provided first aid to her before they left the area.
As part of quick-time enquiries officers arrested two local men, both aged 18, in the early hours of this morning. They remain in custody while enquiries continue.
