Detectives investigating a suspected arson in Eythorne, Dover have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
Kent Police was called at around 6.15am on Wednesday 3 January 2024 to a report that a lit firework had been posted through the letterbox of a property in Adelaide Road.
Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service, who ensured the resident and his property were safe. No injuries were reported however the firework had caused damage to the carpet.
An investigation is ongoing and an image has been released of a man who may be able to assist officers with their enquiries.
