Witnesses are sought following a serious collision in Maidstone.
Shortly before 8.20am on Wednesday 14 May 2025, a white Fiat Ducato van was reversing along Market Buildings towards the High Street, when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to a London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested in relation to the incident. He has since been released on bail.
Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and urge anyone who saw the incident to contact them.
