Witnesses are sought after a woman reported being assaulted by a man following a collision.
The victim was riding her red Honda MSX125 motorbike on the A2 near Shorne, Gravesend, when she was involved in a collision with the driver of a black Audi A7 S-Line.
The car driver signalled to the motorcyclist to stop on the hard shoulder, which the victim did, however when the car driver exited the vehicle, he is reported to have punched the woman in her chest.
This caused the victim to fall onto the floor with the motorbike causing injuries to her body. The motorbike was also damaged.
After assaulting the rider the car driver is reported to have driven away from the scene.
Following the incident, which happened at around 4.40pm on 22 July 2023 officers carried out several enquiries, including talking to a man under caution, however they are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident.
