Witnesses to an assault in Canterbury are being urged to come forward.
On Wednesday 13 July between 11.10pm and 11.30pm it was reported that the victim, a man in his 30s, was sitting at a table at a pub on White Horse Lane, when he was approached by two men.
A verbal altercation followed, and the victim was assaulted and sustained multiple injuries to his head.
Following this incident two 18-year-old men, both from Canterbury, were arrested on suspicion of assault and possession with intent to supply. They have since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the time of the attack.
