Dashcam footage and witnesses are sought after a car collided with multiple parked vehicles Hythe.
A silver Mercedes C220 was allegedly travelling in an erratic manor towards Dymchurch on the A259 when it collided with multiple parked cars at around 1.30pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026. Shortly after, the vehicle collided with a fence before coming to a stop on Hythe Road, Dymchurch.
Officers attended the scene alongside other emergency services where the driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged and arrested on suspicion of driving offences and remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may own a car involved in the collision. Additionally, anyone with information is urged to call the east Kent appeals line on 01843222289, quoting reference 46/63008/26.
Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam, who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage.
