A motorist has been arrested for reportedly assaulting another driver during an altercation at the M20 service station near Maidstone.
Kent Police was called to the incident in a lorry parking area at junction 8, just before 10pm on Thursday 29 February 2024.
It is alleged the driver of a lorry was assaulted by a car driver following an earlier traffic incident on the motorway. He suffered swelling and bruises to his face and upper body.
Officers attended the scene to speak to the victim. A 55-year-old man was later arrested at a Maidstone address and has since been released on bail until Wednesday 29 May.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses to the incident and are urging anyone with information to call the west Kent appeals line on 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/33499/24.
