Investigators are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a serious facial injury in Gillingham.
The incident took place in Jeffery Street at around 4.50pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025.
The victim, a man in his 20s, stopped his car to give some advice to some boys who had reportedly been throwing things at passing vehicles.
A short while later it is alleged a man approached the victim and struck his head before continuing the assault when he fell to the floor. The victim later attended hospital for treatment to his injuries.
The suspect is described as a slim white man, around 18 years old, and thought to be 5ft 7in. He had light brown hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a grey dressing gown, and grey jogging bottoms with long white socks pulled up over them. He was seen travelling on a black e-scooter beforehand.
Officers are urging witnesses to the assault or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to call the appeal line on 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/220167/25.
