Witnesses are sought by officers investigating a serious assault during the Faversham hop festival.
The incident happened near the Standard Quay as the victim, a man in his 50s, was standing at the main bar at around 5.35pm on Saturday 31 August 2024.
He was approached by a man he did not know and following an altercation, the suspect is alleged to have assaulted him and caused a serious injury to one of his ears.
Investigators have been completing enquiries into the incident, including reviewing CCTV in the area, and are now appealing to witnesses or anyone with information who has not yet spoken to the police, to contact them.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, around 6ft, of slim build and with slightly curly brown hair. He was wearing a white long-sleeved top.
He was in the company of two other white men, one of whom was of a similar age, with dark hair and wearing dark clothing. The second had a large build and was older.
