Witnesses sought to serious collision in Tonbridge

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a Kent Police vehicle and an e-bike in Tonbridge.
At around 3.20am on Monday 26 October 2026, officers were driving in Lodge Oak Lane, when the incident took place near the junction with The Wynd.
The riders on the e-bike, a man and a boy of secondary school age, sustained injuries and were given first aid by attending officers. The boy was subsequently taken to a local hospital with a serious leg injury where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries. They urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the vehicles before the collision, to contact them.
