Officers investigating a fatal collision on the M2 near Medway are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At around 2.30pm on Sunday 9 March 2025, a white Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a collision with a purple McLaren car as they travelled in the same direction on the coastbound carriageway of the M2.
The collision took place between junctions 3 and 4.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, was confirmed deceased at the scene.
The car failed to stop at the scene but was later found by police and the driver was arrested in connection with the collision. He currently remains in custody while enquiries continue.
