Officers investigating an unexplained death in Medway are appealing for witnesses.
Kent Police was called just before 11.30pm on Thursday 13 July 2023, to a man found deceased in Lower Twydall Lane, Gillingham. His body was discovered on a grass verge, north of the railway line.
He has since been identified as a local man in his 50s and his next of kin has been informed.
The cause of death is not yet known and detectives are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the man in the hours beforehand.
He is described as white, with a beard, and was found wearing a blue t-shirt, grey shorts, and white trainers.
Anyone with information, private CCTV, or dashcam footage who may have been in the area at the time, is urged to contact Kent Police on 01634 792209 quoting reference 13-1805.
