Officers are appealing for witnesses following a report of a serious assault in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells.
The incident is reported to have taken place at around 11.40pm on Sunday 29 October 2023 in London Road near to the junction with Pennington Road where a man in his 20s was found with an injury consistent with a stab wound.
The victim has been taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Two men, aged 48 and 40, were arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and remain in police custody.
