A man has appeared in court charged with an aggravated burglary in Sevenoaks.
The incident happened at an address in Seal High Street during the evening of Saturday 27 December 2025.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was allegedly assaulted with a hammer and threatened after some men gained entry to the property.
It is reported a mobile phone was damaged, and a chain along with cash were stolen.
The police were alerted and three men, one of whom was known to the victim, were arrested on Monday 29 December and Tuesday 30 December.
Numan Ahmed, of Sandgate Road, Folkestone was later charged with multiple offences including aggravated burglary and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Mr Ahmed, 36, was remanded to Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court where he was conditionally bailed to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 26 January 2026.
A 29 year old man from Tonbridge and a 25 year old man from Barking, Essex were conditionally bailed pending further investigation.
