Four suspects have been charged with an aggravated burglary in Chatham.
An investigation was commenced following a report a property in the Luton Road area had been targeted by a number of men, in the early hours of Friday 8 September 2023.
It was alleged some of the intruders were in possession of bladed weapons and a victim suffered a cut to his lip when he was assaulted.
Two watches and mobile phones were stolen during the incident.
On Monday 16 October, a man was arrested by detectives from the Kent Crime Squad and taken into custody.
On the following day, Ion Vasile, of Boxley Road, Maidstone was charged with aggravated burglary.
The 21-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday 14 November.
Three other suspects were previously arrested and charged with the same offence. Rogel Dumitru, aged 19, of Mayplace Road East, Bexleyheath, south London and Dennis Calin, aged 20, of Albany Road, Chatham were both detained at their home address on Thursday 21 September.
Robert Maytum, aged 35, of Great South Avenue, Chatham was taken into custody four days later. All three are remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on Monday 23 October.
