An arrest has been made by officers investigating thefts from vehicles in Canterbury.
Late on the evening of Monday 22 July 2024, it was reported that someone had been seen trying car door handles in Randolph Close.
Officers attended and a 35-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of theft. He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Police have recovered a set of golf clubs, a number of coats and other items they believe may have been stolen.
Anyone from the area who has lost such items, or been a victim of theft and is yet to report it, is urged to do so through the Kent Police website or email [email protected]. Call 999 if a crime is in progress.
