An arrest has been made as part of an investigation into a suspicious package in Folkestone.
Kent Police was called to Radnor Park West at 7.44am on Wednesday 18 September 2024 where a suspicious package had been found.
A cordon was set up as a precaution while the MOD’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attended the scene to examine the item and confirmed the area was safe.
Later the same day, officers arrested a 35 year old man from Folkestone in connection with the incident.
He has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
