A 16 year old boy has been arrested following multiple vehicles being set alight in Thanet.
Kent Police was called to four separate incidents on Edgar Road, Northdown Road and Richmond Avenue in Margate alongside Upton Road in Broadstairs, in the early hours of Wednesday 8 October.
The fires were extinguished each time by Kent Fire and Rescue Service with no reported injuries.
The incidents are being treated as suspicious by investigators, and an arson investigation has been launched. A 16 year old boy was arrested on Upton Road, Broadstairs, at 7.11am on Wednesday 8 October. He remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.
