Body of woman found

At around 1.20pm on Monday 11 July 2022, Kent Police attended a location near Ford Hill in Herne Bay where the body of a woman was located. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, however the family of a 46-year-old woman who was reported missing on Sunday 10 July have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
