Cash and cocaine have been seized by a patrol responding to a suspicious vehicle in Chatham.
At around 6.15pm on Saturday 24 August 2024, officers saw a car in Gibraltar Hill they suspected was involved in the supply of controlled drugs.
It came to a stop near Rochester Street where the driver was advised he was going to be searched.
The man is alleged to have tried to leave on foot but was detained and taken into custody.
The constables also seized around £1,300 in cash, eight bags of suspected cocaine and 24 bags of herbal cannabis.
The 26-year-old from Teynham was subsequently bailed to return to the police station, while enquiries are completed into the circumstances.
