Detectives investigating a serious assault in Ashford have charged a man in connection to the incident.
Kent Police was called to reports of an assault in Rayworth Court at 6.45pm on Friday 10 October 2025. Emergency services attended the scene where a 19 year old man had sustained facial injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
A 25 year old man was arrested at the scene and has since been remanded in custody after being charged with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife.
James Wood, of Adams Drive, Willesborough, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 October. He will next appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 10 November 2025.
