Charges brought after air weapons seized in Dartford

A man has appeared in court after suspected air weapons and incapacitant spray were uncovered in Dartford.
Kent Police attended a private property in Dunlop Close on Thursday 10 September 2026 following reports of firearms being present.
Following a search, four suspected air weapons were seized alongside incapacitant spray, ammunition and a knife. The occupant of the house was subsequently arrested.
Court
Jamie Johnson, 45, was later charged with possession of a firearm, possession of CS gas and possession of ammunition without certification.
He appeared at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday 15 September, where he was remanded in custody until his next hearing at the same court on Friday 9 October.
