Multiple charges have been secured against three men following a Kent Police investigation into an attempted aggravated burglary.
At around 5pm on 17 July 2026, Kent Police received a report that a group of men had attempted to force entry to a residential property in Folkestone town centre whilst one of them was armed with a weapon.
An investigation was launched and officers carried out extensive CCTV enquiries to establish the suspects' movements before and after the incident. A media appeal was issued on 13 August, which included CCTV images of three suspects. Information received from members of the public assisted detectives in identifying three people of interest.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the three suspects were located at a property in Dover on 18 August and arrested.
Officers also recovered a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and heroin, drug paraphernalia, a substantial amount of cash, a knife and multiple mobile phones.
The suspects were remanded in custody and, on 19 August, the following individuals were charged:
Between them, the three men have been charged with multiple offences, including conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
They appeared before Margate Magistrates' Court on 20 August and will next appear before Canterbury Crown Court on 21 September.
