A suspected dealer has appeared in court after cocaine and cannabis deals were seized at a Sittingbourne property.
Officers from the Swale Community Safety Unit and Local Policing Team executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act, at the address in Cavell Way on Thursday 18 April 2024.
Once inside the premises, the constables seized around 30 suspected wraps of cocaine, three kilos of cannabis, mobile phones and digital scales.
They also recovered a machete, locking flick knife and a knuckle duster. Two men were arrested and taken into custody.
Tom Robinson, of Playstool Road, Newington was later charged by investigators from North Kent CID, with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
The 25-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on the following day. He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
A man in his 20s from Sittingbourne who was also detained, was later bailed to return to the police station, pending further investigation.
