Proactive officers have seized cocaine and cash at a Medway property.
On Friday 24 May 2024, constables investigating the supply of class A drugs executed a search warrant at an address in Chatham.
A bag of cocaine and more than £1,000 were recovered along with a mobile phone. A suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
Michael Day, of Dale Street, Chatham was later charged by investigators from Kent Police's County Lines and Gangs Team, with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possessing criminal property (namely the seized cash).
The 26-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday 27 May. He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 24 June.
