Cocaine deals and knives have been seized by patrols responding swiftly to a violent incident at a property in Chatham.
Kent Police was called at around 10am on Monday 4 November 2024, after a man alleged he had been assaulted with a knife at the premises near the High Street.
The victim suffered a small facial cut during the incident and constables detained a suspect later the same morning. It is reported two officers were assaulted during the arrest. Three knives and around 50 deals of cocaine were also seized.
Miguel Fiorenzi, of Meadowbank Road, Chatham, was later charged with aggravated burglary, wounding with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place, possessing class A drugs with intent to supply and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
The 20-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 November.
