PCSO locates Gravesend robbery suspect

Patrols have quickly arrested a man after a Gravesend robbery suspect was located by a Police Community Support Officer.
At around 9.20am on Thursday 12 January 2023, a man entered a shop in Valley Drive where it is alleged he stole cash from the till before leaving the premises.
Officers were alerted to the incident and a PCSO located a suspect in an alleyway near Parrock Avenue.
Arrest
Other patrols attended and the man was arrested and taken into custody. Officers also seized a quantity of cash.
On the following day, Liam Lunt of Windmill Street, Gravesend was charged with robbery.
The 23-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 14 January where he was remanded to a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on 13 February.
