Multiple bags of drugs and weapons have been seized from a property in Deal.
At 3.36am on Tuesday 29 July, officers were called to Swift Crescent, Deal, after a member of the public raised concerns for someone inside a property.
After receiving no response at the door and observing movement within the address, officers forced entry when a man was seen attempting to leave the building through a window.
A search led to the discovery and subsequent seizure of over 30 items. These included a machete, serrated knives, and a hammer. A large quantity of clingfilm and scales were also seized. White powder was located in multiple rooms, alongside wraps of suspected class A and B drugs.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon. No other persons were located inside the property.
He has been released on bail whilst the investigation continues.
