Drugs and cash have been seized and a suspected dealer arrested following proactive work by officers in Folkestone.
Officers on patrol near Foord Road South became aware of suspicious activity shortly after 2pm on Monday 11 May 2026.
A man was seen with a group of people near Grace Hill before officers approached him and the man was detained.
Enquiries were carried out at the scene and searches led to the recovery of a quantity of cash and a mobile phone.
Further searches were completed at a property in the area and drugs, believed to be heroin and cocaine, were recovered, along with cannabis, additional cash to the value of around £1,000 and several swords.
The man, a 19 year old from the local area, was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and possession of an offensive weapon and was taken into custody.
He has since been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
