Suspected class A drugs have been seized and a man charged after Kent Police officers stopped a suspicious car near Ashford.
Patrols were alerted to the vehicle travelling along the M20 motorway at around 6.30pm on Friday 15 November 2024.
The vehicle was made to stop and the driver detained. Following a search, wraps were seized that were believed to contain cocaine and heroin, along with two mobile phones.
The man was arrested and further searches by officers led to the recovery of cash, blocks of suspected heroin and crack cocaine, and an additional mobile phone.
On Saturday 16 November, Akindele Balogun, of Homefield Rise in Orpington, London, was charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Mr Balogun, 42, was remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 November.
