A quantity of drugs have been seized and two suspected dealers arrested following a proactive stop by officers in Ramsgate.
Patrols in Boundary Road became aware of a suspicious Mercedes at around 10.30pm on Monday 12 January 2026.
Officers signalled for the driver to stop. The vehicle was followed and it is reported a passenger left the car on foot in Harbour Parade.
Shortly afterwards, two men were detained. Searches led to the recovery of a number of drugs, including cannabis and wraps of a suspected class A substance.
Mobile phones, quantities of cash and various drug-related paraphernalia were also seized.
The men, both aged 27 and from the local area, were taken into custody and have since been bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
