Drugs seized during proactive car stop in Tunbridge Wells

Four vials of suspected cocaine were found inside a cigarette packet after officers stopped and searched a car in Tunbridge Wells.

Patrols from the Community Policing Team stopped a suspicious vehicle in Lansdown Road on Friday 1 July 2022 at around 3.40pm and spoke to the driver. They searched the car and seized the drugs along with cash and a mobile phone.

Detained

A man aged 19 of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and enquiries remain ongoing.
