A man has been arrested after several businesses in Gillingham High Street had their windows broken.
Kent Police received a report that a person had been seen at 12pm on Sunday 15 January 2023 using a metal pole and a brick to target businesses in the town. The man was also alleged to have gone inside one business after breaking the window.
Officers responded to the reports and a man matching the description of the suspect was arrested.
The suspect, a 44-year-old man from Gillingham, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and affray. He has since been bailed until Saturday 15 April 2023 pending further enquiries.
