Man arrested following death of Margate woman

An arrest has been made following the death of a woman in Margate.

Kent Police was called to a report of concern for an occupant of a property on Dane Valley Road at around 6.30am on Saturday 13 September 2025.

Officers attended along with paramedics and a woman in her 30s was confirmed deceased. The woman’s next of kin has been informed.

Enquiries were carried out and, at around 11am, a man from the local area was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken into custody where he was interviewed and released on bail.
