A man has been arrested following a serious assault in Dover.
Kent Police was called at 12.30am on Monday 20 May 2024 to a report that a man had been assaulted outside an address in Biggin Street and had sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the man was airlifted to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Enquiries at the scene led to the arrest of a 23-year-old man, believed to be known to the victim, shortly afterwards.
He remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
