A man has appeared in court charged with allegedly colliding with multiple vehicles during an incident in Canterbury.
On Tuesday 15 July 2025, officers on patrol in Whitstable Road requested a motorist to stop driving. The vehicle failed to comply and collided with multiple cars, including a police car, as it left the scene. When the vehicle came to a stop shortly afterwards, the driver was reported to have left the scene on foot.
Officers conducted a number of enquiries and subsequently arrested and charged Erblin Haxiaj, of York Road, Ashford, with dangerous driving and four counts of criminal damage.
The 32 year old appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 17 July where he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on a date yet to be decided.
