A suspected drug dealer has been charged following an early morning search warrant at a property in Gillingham.
As part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs in Medway, officers from Kent Police, with colleagues from the British Transport Police, attended an address in Twydall at around 6.30am on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
During a search of the property, officers seized drug paraphernalia, a quantity of cash, suspected heroin and a mobile phone.
Following enquiries, Marcus Campbell, 47, of Goudhurst Road, Gillingham was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply a class A drug, possession of criminal property and being concerned in the supply of heroin
Campbell appeared before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Thursday 2 July. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 31 July.
