A man is to appear at crown court charged with escaping lawful custody.
Kent Police was called to a report of a man who had left Folkestone Magistrates’ Court at around 5pm on Thursday 2 February 2023.
Following enquiries officers found and arrested the man.
Kaine Trotman, 35, of no fixed address, was charged on Friday 3 February with escaping from lawful custody, criminal damage, and assaulting an emergency worker. He appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the following day where he was remanded in custody.
The case will next be heard on Monday 6 March in Canterbury Crown Court.
