A man has been charged in connection with a series of alleged upskirting offences in Canterbury.
Officers were made aware of reports of suspicious activity in Canterbury city centre, on Monday 30 June. Enquiries were carried out including speaking to the victims and reviewing CCTV from inside stores.
It is alleged that Chanwit Jadtanim, 28, entered changing facilities inside shops and used his mobile phone to take inappropriate images of women without their knowledge. The incidents reportedly took place on Wednesday 14 May, Monday 19 May and Monday 30 June 2025.
Jadtanim was arrested on Monday 30 June and later charged with three counts of voyeurism. He was remanded to appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2 July, and has since been bailed under strict conditions.
