Officers from the West Kent Vulnerability Investigation Team have been probing allegations of offences within the town centre involving two victims, which are reported to have taken place during July and August 2023.
Alexander Johnston, 36, was arrested on Saturday 12 August and later charged with stalking and with two counts of harassment.
He was further charged with an offence of failure to comply with notification requirements (in connection to allegations he failed to disclose information to police as required, concerning the use of three social media accounts).
Mr Johnston, of Dunstan Road, Tunbridge Wells was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 August.
He pleaded guilty to failure to comply with notification requirements but denied all other charges. He was bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 27 November.
