Four people have been charged following an investigation into a serious assault in Headcorn.
Kent Police was called at 7.36pm on Sunday 28 June 2026 to reports of people being injured and weapons being used in Lenham Road.
Patrols including armed officers attended, alongside paramedics, and three people were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not described as life threatening.
Six people, three men and three women, were arrested and taken into custody. Four have since been charged.
John Burke, 36, of Lenham Road in Headcorn was charged with possession of an imitation firearm, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, use or threat of unlawful violence and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
Miriam O'Brien, 52, of Lenham Road in Headcorn was charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, use or threat of unlawful violence and causing grievous bodily harm with intent. She has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 1 July 2026.

She has been remanded in custody and is also set to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
Michael O'Brien, 53, of Lenham Road in Headcorn has been charged with use or threat of unlawful violence. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
The two other people arrested, a 28 year old woman from Oxford and a 32 year old man from the local area, have been bailed pending further enquiries.
