Officers who recovered several suspected stolen bicycles from a property in Folkestone are seeking help to identify the owners.
Officers from Folkestone’s Community Safety Unit received information that several suspected stolen bikes were being housed in a property on Cheriton Road, Folkestone.
A police drone was deployed above the property where multiple bikes were found in the back garden. In total 12 bikes and two e-scooters were seized. A 71 year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods. He has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Efforts are underway to reunite the bikes with their rightful owners.
Anyone with information is urged to call the East Kent appeals line on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/122903/25.
To claim the bike, proof of purchase, a serial number, and/or details of unique identifying features will be required.
