A motorbike associated with nuisance behaviour in Chatham has been taken off the streets.
Officers were patrolling the Brompton area in the morning of Tuesday 16 June 2026 when they spotted the white Yamaha Tricity.
The motorbike was known to officers, who had requested its rider to stop on Wednesday 10 June. However, they failed to do so and drove down an alley to evade police.
Efforts to track down the vehicle were intensified after local residents reported antisocial behaviour allegedly committed by the motorbike’s rider.
This resulted in Medway officers noticing it abandoned under a stairwell. It was discovered it had been stolen and was subsequently seized for further investigation.
Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact investigators on 01634 792209 quoting reference 16-0287.
