Multiple nuisance vehicles have been seized as part of ongoing action to tackle antisocial behaviour in Swale.
Officers from the Community Safety Unit carried out proactive patrols in Minster-on-Sea on Friday 29 May 2026, during which three illegal e-scooters were stopped and seized.
In a separate incident, a car was also seized on Aspen Drive after it was found to be driven without insurance.
The activity forms part of a wider operation targeting nuisance riders and addressing the risks they pose to the public.
Earlier in May, officers on patrol across Swale had seized three other e-scooters as part of continued efforts to keep communities safe.
PC Sophie Marshall said:
‘During these operations we are not only seizing illegal e-scooters but also educating riders about the law surrounding them.
‘Using e-scooters on the streets of Swale is illegal and creates hazards for other road users. We will continue to carry out proactive operations to ensure the message is clear that anyone found riding an e-scooter will have action taken against them.’
