Three suspected burglars have been arrested in Folkestone after the car they were travelling in was stopped by patrols.
Just after 12am on the morning of Tuesday 23 January 2024, officers stopped a car in the Round Hill Tunnel on the coastbound A20 in Folkestone.
Police were alerted after the same car had allegedly failed to stop when required, two days previously.
Alongside the driver, two men were reported to be travelling as passengers and a number of items - including bolt cutters, a crowbar, balaclavas, torches and gloves - were seized by officers.
Two men aged 20 and a 33-year-old man were all arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal.
They remain in custody while investigating officers carry out their enquiries.
