Cash and cocaine deals have been seized by officers patrolling the Gillingham area.
On Sunday 5 November 2023, constables from Kent Police’s Proactive Targeting Team stopped a Vauxhall Insignia in Lower Rainham Road.
Suspecting the driver to be involved in the supply of controlled drugs, they completed a search and seized ten cocaine deals and four mobile phones.
The driver was arrested and taken into custody.
Officers also seized a further 30 bags of cocaine, a quantity of cash and more mobile phones.
Naomi Coates, of Sundridge Hill, Rochester was later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possession of criminal property (namely the seized cash), driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.
The 23-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 November.
