A pensioner has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a shop assistant in Tunbridge Wells.
Kent Police was called at 3.45pm on Thursday 6 February 2025 to the incident at a shop in Calverley Road.
It is alleged the suspect approached a member of staff and made inappropriate comments. It is also reported he touched her arm and made lewd gestures before leaving the store on foot.
Officers attended the scene and located a man from Crawley, West Sussex in a nearby road. He was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, common assault, and a public order offence.
The 75 year old has since been released on conditional bail until April, pending further enquiries.
