Two suspects linked to car thefts across west Kent have been arrested by patrols near Bluewater and in Sevenoaks.
The men were detained in connection with separate incidents which included the alleged theft of a Bentley Bentayga.
The high value SUV was reported stolen shortly after 2.30am on Wednesday 2 October 2024, from an address near Snodland.
Within 30 minutes it was tracked down by patrols to the A2 and followed with blue lights until it stopped on Darenth Wood Road.
A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of suspected signal jamming devices.
A 54-year-old man from east London was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and going equipped for theft and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
At around 11pm the previous evening, proactive patrols in Sevenoaks also arrested a man, who was linked to suspicious activity in a Ford Transit.
Officers instructed the van to stop, and it came to a halt in Lea Road.
When it was searched a suspected door opening device was seized, along with several vehicle keys, car ignition parts, more than £400 in cash and a sling shot.
The driver, aged 34 and from Sevenoaks, was taken into custody on suspicion of going equipped to steal and drug driving offences. He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
