Detectives have charged a second man following a report of a serious assault in Gillingham.
Officers were called to the incident in Copenhagen Road, at 4pm on Tuesday 6 August 2024.
A man was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service for injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to a London hospital by air ambulance and has since been discharged.
On Tuesday 13 August, two suspects were arrested and taken into custody.
Tyrese Scott, of Pemberton Rise, Teynham, has since been charged by investigators with wounding with intent. The 20-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15 August. He was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 13 September.
Etinosa Ojo, of Thorold Road, Chatham, was previously charged with the same offence. The 19-year-old was remanded to Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 9 September.
Officers are continuing to urge any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police to contact the appeal line.
